SpotTEC - High-frequency Spot Generator
Tantec SpotTEC is used for treatment of profiles, cables and injection
moulded parts. The SpotTEC is easily adopted into any production
line and offers the user a high level of flexibility in use. The SpotTEC
is based on the principle of high-voltage discharge in atmospheric air
blown towards a substrate surface.

CableTEC – Corona Treatment of Cables
The purpose of surface treatment of polymer based materials is to
increase surface wettability through electrical discharge. The low
surface energy of polymer based substrates often leads to poor
adhesion of inks, glues and coatings. To obtain optimum adhesion, it
is necessary to increase the surface energy of the substrate to just
above that of the material to be applied. Surface treatment with
corona results in improved surface adhesion properties.

FoamTEC - Corona Treatment of Foam & Board
PP board is made of blended PP co-polymer and has one major
disadvantage - low surface energy, resulting in poor surface
adhesion for water-based adhesives and inks. Corona treatment
systems by Tantec significantly increase surface energy and
improve adhesion.

PipeTEC - Corona Treatment of Jacket Pipes
The PipeTEC is designed for treatment of the inside surface of jacket
pipes for optimised adhesion of PUR foam which is needed for

SyrinTEC - Corona Treatment of Syringes
SyrinTEC is specially designed for 360° treatment of PP and PE
syringe barrels. Normally the SyrinTEC is built into the printing line
and positioned as the final process before the barrels enter into the
printing machine. Using the SyrinTEC enables treatment of the entire
outside surface without any inside treatment, which would increase
friction on the inside barrel and cause the plunger to drag when used.

ProfileTEC Plasma Treatment of EPDM Profiles
Two common applications for pre-treatment of automotive EPDM-
profiles with plasma are prior to flocking and slip-coating. In the
flocking process, treatment is necessary to achieve a strong bond
between the rubber and the adhesive used to attach the flock.
For slip-coating it is necessary to treat prior to the spray process
to achieve good wettability and optimum adhesion properties of
the coating.

small injection moulded plastic parts, without the need to place them
in a jig or use complicated handling systems. With the RotoVAC drum
design, simply fill the drum and place it in the vacuum chamber. The
